Shoot-Out: Reigning Champ Bond Out

Date: 27 January 2012

REIGNING champion Nigel Bond lost to last year's runner-up Robert Milkins in the first round of the PartyPoker.com Snooker Shoot-Out at the Circus Arena, Blackpool Tower.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Joe Jogia has withdrawn from the competition on medical, and has been replaced by Rod Lawler. Jogia had been subject to an investigation by the WPBSA's Integrity Unit after an unusual number of bets had been placed on him to lose his match against Matt Selt.

Jogia, who says he has a leg injury, will be expected to provide a doctor's note to the WPBSA.
